Welcome toLouise B. Zeuli, P.A.
|
Louise is an experienced civil litigator in state and federal courts, now practicing exclusively in dispute resolution. She serves in a wide variety of disputes both privately administered and with organizations, including the American Arbitration Association, American Health Lawyers Association and The Florida Bar. Combined with Louise’s health care profession as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, she is detail oriented with a down to earth, active listening, practical approach to dispute resolution
Streamlining the arbitration process is essential, starting with the first preliminary hearing. Along with counsel/parties, Louise establishes: 1) discovery limitations, parameters, electronic disclosures and filings, 2) motion deadlines, including dispositive motions, 3) claw back provisions, 4) communication methods, 5) trial date and length, 6) regular monthly or bimonthly short hearings to address any discovery or other concerns which have arisen. Expectations are for counsel/parties to meet all deadlines, be forthcoming in discovery, timely raise concern/issues and cooperate to prevent unnecessary continuation of the original trial date.
Louise has served as an arbitrator on single- and three-member panel arbitrations. Representative issues include the following:
• Attorney's Fees | • Managed Care/Payor Provider Disputes, 304B Drug Program, Coding (Provider Agreements, CMS Medicare, Medicaid) |
